It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Dirk Nowitzki's House!! Check it out.

So, if you are wondering where Dallas’ very own Superman resides, you have come to the right place. Check it out….

Dirk purchased this 5 bed/6 bath Colonial-revival property back in 2008. Public records show he paid just under $8 million. Even though this transaction happened a few years ago; it’s the playoffs, and you may be asking yourself, where does this other-worldly man of steel reside?

Dirk’s home is located in the heart of the Dallas neighborhood which has been dubbed, “Billionaire’s Row.”

Built in 1937, this massive 9,215 square foot home also boasts a 3-car garage, tennis court, swimming pool and a fireplace with a sitting area near the back patio…. and of course, a basketball hoop.

When Dirk awakens in his “Fortress of Solitude,” his super German-strength, X Ray vision, ability to drain fade away jumpers in a single bound and hold his breath a really, really long time is restored.

Coincidentally? Dirk’s house is conveniently located only 6 minutes away from one of Mark Cuban’s houses; another amazing home in the heart of Preston Hollow. This way on their downtime, Cuban can give Dirk tips on his game, intense facial expressions and make sure he avoids any kryptonite.

Here are some more pictures of Dirk’s current home… Taken circa 2007.

Stay tuned for more of posts on homes of other local superheros and go Mavs!

PS – Dirk, you are my hero.

  3. Dirk work hard for this! and he will have more mundane possessions, tnx to his being the star player and all for the MAVS. Still, I hope this wont be the center of his life but the love, faith and trust of the people who love him. Dirk, continue ur dream and be the best that you can be. Stay sweet and humble. love yah!

  4. So i’m from Germany and we all can be very proud of Dirk Nowotzki. A German is definitely a star in the prime basketball league in the world. We’re excited how the Us citizens celebrate “all of our” Dirk. This might be less well recognized in the united states.
